Intro: Robby Ayala is Vine famous. He’s an active user of the Twitter-owned mobile app, Vine, which lets users record and edit six-second videos on their cellphones. Robby started making Vines with his best friend Chase Hauck in his college dorm during finals week. By the end of finals, Robby had gained about 1,000 followers and within months he had reached 10,000, then 150,000, and now he has 2.5 million followers – and a job at Niche.co. We spoke with Robby about how he and other top Viners are making a living from silly six-second videos.
